A beautiful handwoven banig mat from Bukidnon, Philippines, made of natural sodsod grass. Its warm, sunrise-inspired pattern adds a minimalist, cultural touch to any home or space as a decor or textile accent.
- Size: Round, approximately 4' diameter.
- Make: Plant-dyed and natural colored woven grass. Proudly handwoven by the TWWA, which actively preserves its traditional Bukidnon-Tagolanen cultures.
- Care: Keep dry. To remove folds from the banig, gently flex it in the opposite direction of the folds, or use weights like heavy books for 1-3 days to flatten it. To clean your banig, gently shake out any dirt and dust. One may use a handheld vacuum with a brush attachment. Do not use a strong vacuum like a floor or robot vacuum since this may damage the handwoven material over time.

Fits may vary by style or personal preference; sizes may vary by manufacturer. Depending on the characteristics of the fabrics used, there could be a sizing variation of ½ inch. Most Filipiniana garments have no stretch in the fabrics. Size up if you'd like a fit with more ease.
MEASURING TIPS
• Wear similar undergarments (bra, camisole, slip, thin undershirt) as you would wear under the blouse/dress/barong while measuring.
• Have a friend or partner take the measurements (or a local tailor!)
• Keep the measuring tape snug but not tight, with the tape parallel to the floor for hip, waist, and chest measurements.
