Handwoven by Kalinga weavers, this butterfly sleeve bolero is woven in the lilaktob pattern with inammata, the traditional "eye" motif. This Filipiniana terno top features structured, pleated shoulders with a cropped, open-front silhouette.

WHAT IS LILAKTOB?
Woven "one after another" down the cloth, this repeating pattern is called Lilaktob (also spelled Lilagtob or Nilaktob). The diamond motifs on this cloth are Inammata, an "eye" design shared across Kalinga weaving and tattoo tradition, traditionally believed to ward off evil.

Weave: Kalinga backstrap weave (laga), handwoven by Kalinga weaving communities. Natural, slight variation in color and pattern placement piece to piece
Fabric: Medium-weight cotton-poly blend
Closure: Open front, no closure
Care: Hand wash cold and air dry flat, or dry clean

Most Filipiniana and Barong fabrics have little to no stretch, and fit can vary depending on the cut, fabric, and how you prefer to wear your clothes. If you're between sizes or prefer a little more ease, we generally recommend sizing up.

HOW TO MEASURE

For the most accurate fit:

Measure over the undergarments you plan to wear with the garment.
If possible, have someone else take your measurements.
Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug, not tight.
For bust/chest, waist, and hips, keep the tape level and parallel to the floor.
