A handwoven inabel throw in the kusikos pattern — the interlocking geometric motif that creates the characteristic optical movement across the cloth. Woven in deep blue and white cotton on a traditional handloom in the Ilocos region of northern Philippines.

Draped over a chair or bed, the kusikos pattern shifts with the light. Fringed edges are a natural finish of the weave.

WHAT IS INABEL?
Inabel is a traditional handwoven textile from the Ilocos region of northern Philippines, one of the oldest continuous weaving traditions in the country. The name comes from the Ilocano word abel, meaning "to weave." Patterns are geometric and vary by town and weaver, passed down through generations. Each piece is woven on a traditional handloom; slight variations between pieces are a natural feature of the craft.
