Handwoven in Maguindanao, this malong features the Inurang-urang pattern, a traditional nature-inspired motif named for the shrimp or prawn.

WHAT IS A MALONG?
A malong is a traditional Filipino tube garment, worn as a wraparound skirt, dress, shawl, or even a sleeping mat. Versatile, breathable, and rooted in Mindanao weaving tradition.

ABOUT THE INURANG-URANG PATTERN
A traditional motif named for the urang-urang, or shrimp/prawn, rendered in repeating curled geometric forms with pointed extensions.
