Handwoven in Maguindanao, this malong features traditional Inaul motifs, drawing from the geometric and nature-inspired forms found throughout Maguindanaon weaving.

WHAT IS A MALONG?
A malong is a traditional Filipino tube garment, worn as a wraparound skirt, dress, shawl, or even a sleeping mat. Versatile, breathable, and rooted in Mindanao weaving tradition.

Traditional Inaul motifs draw from geometric forms and the natural world, interpreted by weavers through repeating shapes, lines, and intricate woven details.

SIZING
One size. Approximately 50" in height and 38" in width, measuring approximately 76" around when opened. Worn by wrapping, tying, and folding, adjustable across body sizes and styles.

Most Filipiniana and Barong fabrics have little to no stretch, and fit can vary depending on the cut, fabric, and how you prefer to wear your clothes. If you're between sizes or prefer a little more ease, we generally recommend sizing up.

HOW TO MEASURE

For the most accurate fit:

Measure over the undergarments you plan to wear with the garment.
If possible, have someone else take your measurements.
Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug, not tight.
For bust/chest, waist, and hips, keep the tape level and parallel to the floor.
