WHAT IS BINOBODAN (IKAT)?
Binobodan is a resist-dyeing textile technique practiced by Ifugao weavers in the Cordillera region of northern Philippines. Threads are hand-tied and dyed before weaving to create intricate patterns. The process is slow and skilled, each piece reflects hours of work by artisans carrying this tradition.
