A Journey Through Philippine Handwoven Textiles is a survey of the rich weaving traditions of the Philippines – from abel and the varied Cordillera weaves in the north; sinamay, pinukpok, abaca, pina, hablon of South Luzon and Central Visayas; to t’nalak and other fabrics of Mindanao.

It is the hope of HABI The Philippine Textile Council that this introduction will encourage people to better understand, appreciate and use the indigenous handwoven textiles of the Philippine archipelago.
